Composting at home bridges the gap nicely, delivering organic enrichment at minimal ongoing cost.

Ease of Use

Synthetic fertilizers come with precise instructions and predictable results. Organic alternatives require more involvement — more frequent application, incorporation into soil — but the soil health benefits compound over time. Liquid plant foods offer convenience and quick absorption but need careful handling to avoid plant damage from over-application.
